This is a decent crisply clear brown ale, not much carbonation action, which therefore explains the near lack of any head worth mentioning, nor any head retention, although it does form a ring and some small lacing. Fantastic nose of sweet buttery, nutty coffee, with the smallest hint of cherry in there. The taste doesn't quite follow this up, yet still contains the roasted nut and coffeelike flavours attributed to this style. It has a pleasant round mouthfeel to it, not watery like a Newcastle.

Had full head, and left nice lacing down glass (have they improved this since last reviews?) even from a can.

Clear, amber in color.
Full body and taste, hoppy finish. Not overly strong flavor, but still has hint of roasted nuts.
Tastey, and enjoyable to drink.
Another good effort from Okanagan Springs.
