500ml can. sampled march 8/2011.

pours orangey amber with a small cap of fine white head. the head drops quickly and leaves no lace.

aroma is nice. yep, it's a lemon tea ale alright. nice lemon character that is neither sour nor acidic. nice light tea character. touch of caramel and honey. cracker and white bread. hint of alcohol. bit of floral character that comes across slightly soapy.

taste is terrible. did i just drink a glass of lemon scented dish soap? lemon and soapy floral character. after you've been overpowered by the soapy lemon, the herbal tea character starts to come through a bit. white bread. light alcohol. bit of grain.

mouthfeel is okay. medium-light body. medium-high carbonation level.

drinkability is bad. looked okay and smelled nice enough, but it was all downhill from there...

500 ml can from LCBO into a pint glass. I picked this up on a whim, feeling like something a bit different.

Appearance- Hazy, dark golden color, kind of like a darker hefeweizen. Impressive 1.5 fingers of head with great retention. Leaves a creamy white head, with a nice fluffy cap. Good lacing on glass.

Smell - Iced Tea, Lemon, Other citrus, maybe a hint of orange, oh and did I mention lemon?

Taste - It tastes like what it says it is. Crossed between lemon iced teas and beer, but not in a sickly sweet sort of way. Again lemon and maybe orange peel in there.

Mouthfeel - Carbonation is noticeable, but this works since I think this is best served very cold. Very nice and refreshing and not too thin tasting.

Overall - Very enjoyable and not overly sweet. Perfectly refreshing on a hot summer day and plenty of flavor available as well.

Tall boy can. I was fairly convinced this would be horrible, but it's not that bad. This is not to say that it's particularly good. If I hadn't known this was 'lemon tea' I might not have noticed those flavors, but they are definitely there albeit subtle. The tea is in the initial taste while the finish is a standard, somewhat aqueous lager.

Pours a clear gold colour with a nice chunky head that quickly dissipated into nothing, leaving behind no lace. Smells of iced tea, lemon, and wheat beer. Apparently, they used a blend of orange pekoe and earl grey to make this beer. I could taste the earl grey. Reminded me of when I drank earl grey tea as a kid because of Jean Luc Picard in Star Trek. Strong lemon aroma, with some grainy malts and tea leaves. Tastes a little stronger than it smells. Like someone mixed in lemon iced tea with a rather boring hefeweizen. I could see myself drinking this on a hot summers day after mowing the lawn. Then again, I could also have an iced tea after mowing the lawn as well. Would I drink it again? If it were offered. Would I buy it again? No.

This is a featured summer beer at my store. I'm a big fan of Mill Street so I have high hopes for this beer.

The beer pours a dark orange-brown that looks very much like real iced tea. The smell is also just that - tea predominantly with some light beer aromas. The taste is really nice - it's like iced earl grey tea with some extra bitterness thrown in.

Excellent beer on the whole - super refreshing and very tasty. If you like beer and tea, this is a no brainer. Coors Light Iced T can eat its heart out.
