A- Pours a copper color that is chill hazed and has a white colored head that retains itself, eventually settling into a thick film over the beer. Carbonation looks to be mild and the lacing is good....it's not very sticky but it's thick.
S- This is a malt heavy smelling Pils, with some floral/citrus notes.....the finish smells slightly bitter, and there is just a hint of alcohol....different aromas than I expected but it's nice overall!
T- While this tastes of a Pilsner, this is more robust and sweeter.....more malty would describe this best. There is an alcoholic tinge that lingers on the palate but doesn't offend, and the finish is still somewhat of citrus like, leafy bitters. Somewhat creamy/yeasty overall.
M/O- This is medium/full bodied and the carbonation, while not super crisp, is still quite noticeable. Would flabby be a good term for this beer, as far as mouthfeel goes?....I'm not sure, but it is thick and lingering on the palate. The bitter finish sticks to the back of my mouth too. Overall, I don't mind this beer.....it's good....just different. It's somewhat complex, and I like it. Too bad this is no longer brewed!

Pours a nice golden yellow, a bit cloudy, good head and some lacing.
Smell is dominated by grass/grain with a bit of bread and alcohol present as well.
Taste dominated by alcohol, a little bit of corn.
Too smooth, almost oily finish on the mouth. Dry aftertaste, lots of carbonation.
Nice for a change, not something I'd search out.

Single bottle from a Mill Street mixed sample pack, and poured into a Mill Street glass.
Pours a deep golden hue - it certainly shows its weight here. About a half inch of head, recedes into a ring of foam, which dissolves after a short time. Some lacing.
Nose is sweet and malty, with some noble hops and a touch of citrus.
Interesting brew - still trying to figure out what I make of the "imperial" effect here. Certainly tastes like a pilsner, but with an added sweetness. Finishes with pilsner hops and a touch of lemon. Not as crisp as a pilsner should be, but that's to be expected.
Heavier than your classic pilsner, carbonation is brisk.
While it probably isn't going to be something I regularly look for, the brew is certainly worth while. If you're looking for something pilsner-like with a bit of heft that tastes genuine, this would do the trick. I just prefer my pilsners to be lighter and crisper, and with a more pronounced hop profile.

Poured from 355 mL bottle into a Negra Modelo glass.
A-Pours with minimal white foamy head that disappears quite quickly. Little bits of lacing left on the glass as I tip to drink. Very clear gold colour with moderate carbonation.
S-Not a ton of aroma. Lots of light malts as one would expect with a pilsner, but also a bit of toast that makes it quite nice. I don't detect any hops.
T-Lots of light crisp maltiness up front and some bready sweetness. A mild hop bitterness as the taste reaches the back of the mouth. Dry and clean finish.
M-Relatively dry and light, slightly effervescent. The carbonation gives it a refreshing quality.
O-I'll place the caveat that I quite enjoy pilsners and this is a nice one. Lots of light malt as one would expect, but the bread-like sweetness adds a hint of complexity. It is not a super complex or challenging beer, but I could drink more than a few of these in one sitting.

Deep golden colour, poorly retained off-white head, spotty lace. The baking bread aroma also shows floral and lemon zest notes. A hint of diacetyl, but that's ok. Some bohemian lagers, Golden Pheasant for example, do have that character. Doughy malt up front, sweet but not overly so, with a delicate buttery note. Lemony/spicy hops and medium bitterness in the long finish. Medium bodied with somewhat low carbonation. Feels smooth and overly slick. While the diacetyl doesn't overwhelm the aroma or taste, it is a little much in the mouthfeel. It actually feels a little bit greasy. Otherwise, this is a pretty good beer. But it could be a lot better if they dialed back on the diacetyl.

Clear golden yellow under a moderate head. Settles to a substantial ring and gives up only random spots of lace.
Nose is grassy with lemon and some sort of odd sour-sweet note. Mouthfeel is a a touch syrupy from the sweetness of the beer - sweeter than I'd really expect from a pils, more prominent malt than you often get in the style. Subtly, but ultimately, noticeably boozy. Almost too close a cousin to a malt liquor, so not to my taste.

355ml bottle, part of a seasonal mixed pack here in Alberta.
This beer pours a clear, pale golden amber hue, with two flabby fingers of puffy, creamy white head, which leaves some Rorschach pattern splatters of lace around the glass as it evenly subsides.
It smells of grainy, biscuity, somewhat musty malt, a bit of pithy citrus, and prominent grassy, leafy old-world hops. The taste is wet hay, where some of that moisture is malt liquor, sour aged lemon, a sharp breadiness, which is kind of hard to otherwise picture, and some sturdy grassy, weedy, and rather bitter hops.
The carbonation is pretty assertive, but in a generally non-threatening way, the body medium-light in weight, and haltingly smooth, the hops and alcohol making themselves a mild nuisance. It finishes fairly dry, the graininess of the malt and the uptick in ABV still at the mercy of the pungent (relatively speaking) noble Bohemian hops.
An interesting venture, doubling, or doppeling, or whatever, a style that is really just fine on its own, more than fine, actually. But here we are, through the looking glass, and it turns out that a Czech Pils can take the heat, as it were, especially when it's in the hands of a careful, attendant brewer. I'm a little surprised that this isn't listed as an Imperial Pilsner here, where I'm sure it would do very well.
