Got a little insider info about this beer. A friend told me that this beer wasn't on the list since the tapped it a little earlier than expected. Thus making for a very hoppy barely wine.
Appearance- A medium amber with some light brandy notes in the hue. Very light to sparse bubbling in my small snifter. No head.
Smell- Bombarded with sweet candy malt smells. Makes me think of the old time cherry ribbon candy Grandma would keep in a bowl on the dining room table.
Taste- Great fruity, port malts mixed together with an astounding amount of hops. The hops creat an awesome interplay between bitter and sweet. They go together so well.
Mouthfeel- Such a great barely wine to sipp with that great fresh, young taste of hops mixed with its candy sweetness. Such a dynamic beer.
Serving type: on-tap
