Third Street is a great little college bar/local 20-something’s hang out. Sonoma State and Santa Rosa JC share this bar and you can always find someone you know when you go in. Their food is always good and the service is excellent. The beer is fantastic and is always changing. Their fruit beers are excellent and their American Hef is one of my favorite beers in the area. Rumor also has it that the owner or manager of the place was last seen on the Bachelor. This seems to be one of the more popular "facts" that you might hear upon entering.

I tend to prefer the following beers at Third Street
Bad Santa
Stonefly Moccochino Stout
Stonefly Oatmeal Stout
Drunken Weasal Dunkelweizen

and the crowd favorites are actually their fruit beers, especially the One Ton Blackberry.

I would definitely hit this bar up on any night of the week or any time during the weekend...and since Russian River is almost next door, this makes for a great dinner stop if you are not in the mood for Russian River Pizza or want to do a little beer hopping while in the area.

Went late on a week night and it was still buzzing. Very friendly staff and tasty food. The sampler is the way to go. The night I was there it included 10 drafts and 2 cask ales. Beer isn't as good as their neighbors (Russian River) but still enjoyable.

Decent, but not exceptional beer. Food is fine at best, service is constantly inconsistent. Go to one of the many other breweries or tap rooms in town instead.

A great place for lunch or dinner. The location is nice and close to the rest of downtown Santa Rosa. I've been partial to their excellent burgers.

Their beer range is decent, and haven't been disappointed.

Third Street, like it's nearby neighbor (Russian River BC), is always busy. That said, the food and beer makes it worth it.
