Pours a clear, amber/brown color. One inch head of an off-white color. Great retention and slight lacing. Smells of yeast, sweet malt, coriander, orange peel, slight tart malt, and a hint of pear. Fits the style of a Dubbel. Mouth feel is smooth and crisp with a high carbonation level. Tastes of sweet malt, yeast, slight hop, pear, slight spice, and a hint of alcohol. Overall, a good blend, body, and aroma, but the carbonation really kills the possibility of this beer.

Original poster says it's a Belgian Dark Ale. Wrong, it's a Dubbel. Says so on the label!
A: Dark reddish-brown, big head at start, but, thins out pretty quick.
S: Dark fruits, maybe some chocolate. Citrus, maybe orange.
T: Follows nose, deep, sweet, dark fruits. Slight citrus. Finishes with some vanilla.
M: A bit thin, flavor seems to disappear fairly quick. Alcohol burn seems deeper than the 7% as shown on bottle.
D: Pretty hot alcohol burn, which isn't a bad thing for a Winter warmer I guess. I got about half way thru the bomber, had to drain pour the rest. It's an OK beer, but, not good enough to make me want the whole 25.4 OZ of it. I could see it as a 12oz bottle, but, not likely to buy another bomber.

Clear deep amber-copper color, small creamy off white head that doesn't last, malty spicy orange-nutmeg aroma, clean malty spicy flavors, nice lasting some what bitter finish, decent warming alcohol feel, medium body light and soft mouthfeel, nice balance, my favorite brew from this brewery.
