12oz. bottle poured into a tulip-style glass. It pours a deep copper color with three huge fingers of head. There is a good amount of sticky lacing left on the glass. The smell is fruity and refreshing. Subtle hints of blueberry slide in under the sweet malty backbone. The taste is chock full of blueberries. The malty sweetness combined makes this beer almost taste like a blueberry pancake, not too shabby! A touch of hops on the finish to boot. The mouthfeel is nice and strong, but really smooth. The drinkability is good too. A really nice blueberry ale!

Overall the best fruit-beer I've ever had. Enjoyed this at the Bangor Brew Fest and have savored a six pack at least once a month since. Very robust blueberry taste and freshness, but i don't think this flavor would mix well with a stout as it is just too powerful. Great for beginners starting on craft/micro-brew beer looking for a delightful mix of seasonal flavors and costal brews. I have really enjoyed it, I'm sure you will!

Served in a pint glass without mentionable head. Appears to be coppery-brown in color in the darkened room. Location is a restaurant I've never visited before.
Fragrance is lightly fruity & beer - without being overwhelming at all.
Taste is complex & ever changing. Light fruit flavor up front transitions to a much stronger, not-quite-skunked bite with both malt & hop flavors present, but a bit odd. Swallow, and the flavors mellow, becoming rounder, more of a light-brown ale. The finish is crisper, hops & bubbles are more present and a hint of the fruit returns.
Mouthfeel is pleasant - a light brown ale with a lively finish.
Overall, interesting. I'd like to try it again in a different location to be certain.
