Bottle poured into a standard nonic.
A: Pours a translucent amber hue with a moderately thin off-white head, about a half a fingers worth, which dissipated within a minute or so.
S: Barley sweetness, near "cotton candy" clowingly so, with just a twinge of blueberry. I cannot detect any hops in the nose.
T: Thin and sweet, blueberry more prominant in the taste than the nose. Barley sweetness arrives early, blueberry comes in towards the middle, and just a touch of hop bitterness on the back end to help balance things out.
The blueberry is most prominant, but adds a touch of sourness that gives the beer a little character. And the hops, although mild, are noticeable and much appreciated.
M: Thin. Light. Carbonation a shade low for my preferences.
D/O: Easy-drinkin'. A little too sweet, but still has a little kick to keep it interesting. Repeatable, but I don't love it.

Overall the best fruit-beer I've ever had. Enjoyed this at the Bangor Brew Fest and have savored a six pack at least once a month since. Very robust blueberry taste and freshness, but i don't think this flavor would mix well with a stout as it is just too powerful. Great for beginners starting on craft/micro-brew beer looking for a delightful mix of seasonal flavors and costal brews. I have really enjoyed it, I'm sure you will!

Served in a pint glass without mentionable head. Appears to be coppery-brown in color in the darkened room. Location is a restaurant I've never visited before.
Fragrance is lightly fruity & beer - without being overwhelming at all.
Taste is complex & ever changing. Light fruit flavor up front transitions to a much stronger, not-quite-skunked bite with both malt & hop flavors present, but a bit odd. Swallow, and the flavors mellow, becoming rounder, more of a light-brown ale. The finish is crisper, hops & bubbles are more present and a hint of the fruit returns.
Mouthfeel is pleasant - a light brown ale with a lively finish.
Overall, interesting. I'd like to try it again in a different location to be certain.
