Attractive bottle pours an unattractive beer. Golden clear color with short-lasting head and a lot of pearling (which afterwards turns to result in seriously unpleasant bloating feel).
Smell is correct: hops, yeast and barley - all in faint amounts.
Tastes dull. Nothing to point out, and nothing to heavily complain of. Leaves sparky and watery aftertaste.
Gave me a bloat feeling throughout whole night. Not satisfying at all.

Bottle: very ordinary 330mL macro bottle. Doesn't inspire confidence.

Appearance: fairly clear straw colour. 1.5 finger frothy head with limited lacing.

Aroma: touch of wheat and malt. Possibly something floral, but certainly very sedate.

Taste: quite sweet at first. Malts are up-front, backed up by some bitter hop flavours.

Aftertaste: similar, with added floral hops (very light though).

Mouth feel: light body, medium-to-high carbonation. So basically, a lager.

Overall: lager wheat and metallic lagery-ness, not a bad beer really. If you want a standard lager, this is one. Reasonable price, reasonable beer. Definitely an option if you are after a cheap and plentiful sessional beer.

A - Fairly clear pale golden colour with just a hint of haze. Solid finger or two of pillowy head on top but fading quickly.

S - Touch of wheat and malt. Faintest hint of honey and something herbal - possibly coriander.

T - Quite sweet at first, carbonation seems to be quite low. Solid malt-coating forming in the mouth which is masking some more bitter flavours. Creamy head adds a nice touch. Again a hint of herbs & wheat is lurking in the background.

M - The malty coating works to smooth out the bitterness. Carbonation could be a bit stronger.

O - A serviceable Euro-style lager but nothing special. Taste is ok but feels like it's slightly lacking direction - a few good elements but they're not really brought together.

Picked this up in Germany.
33 cl bottle.

Pale golden, decent, but quickly disappearing white head white head, ok carbonation.

Smell of typical pilsner with grassy hops, malts and yeast.
Simple, and equal is the taste.
However, this beer has a quick dry finish to it, and not a particularly nice one: it's allmost metalic.
Watery mouthfeel. The carbonation is ok refreshing.

Overall, it's just like most plain lagers: simple. A bit boring.

A: The beer pours a clear golden straw color with a short lived white head.

S: I can smell the skunk before I even pour the beer. Lots of sulfur on the nose, and some definite grassiness. Some decent sweetness underneath with some mild bread and some corn.

T: A lot of grassy hops with a fair amount of bitterness. The skunkiness is still there and certainly off-putting. However, the beer is sweet overall and has a nice bit of malt in addition to the adjunct sort of flavors.

M: Fairly light in body with a medium to high level of carbonation.

O: Could have been pretty good, but the skunkiness just really ruined it.

.5L, best before January 2012. Lager from Austria, brewed with rice in addition to malted barley.

This is a good-looking beer. Clear, effervescent yellow-gold and a nice two-finger head with some staying power.

The aroma is faint, with some vaguely grassy and lemony hops. There's still something a tad artificial about it though.

The flavor is surprisingly bitter-- this stuff's got some balls! Then again, the artificiality of the beer comes through again, with notes reminiscent of kitchen cleaner or something, but nothing too offensive. Traces of grain on the aftertaste. The mouthfeel is drying and a bit over-carbonated.

This stuff isn't too bad. It's pretty refreshing and bitter, though I'd take a well-made Pils or Helles any day over it. To its credit, I'd take a Zipfer over any of our rice-brewed, watery macro-lagers in the US.
