2nd brewery to open in my hometown I was so excited when I found out one of the first beers they were having is a vanilla porter one of my favorite styles
Look is a nice dark but with lots of carbonation bubbles
Smell is vanilla with roasted malts and bit of coffee
Taste follows smell nice balance of vanilla and roast malts with coffee really well put together flavor profile
Feel follows the look too much carbonation which I feel is causing a thinner mouthful that is slightly distracting from how tasty it is
Overall very tasty beer and a well done effort just need to dial a few things in good job guys!

Poured into a nonic pint glass, the appearance was a black color with a thin off white foamy head that died off at a decent pace. Sly messy lacing. The aroma blends a robust roasty coffee edge to milk chocolate and vanilla bean sweetness and roastiness. Bitterness of the coffee beans are underneath. The flavor brings about robust coffee bean to the vanilla sweet edge flowing nicely together. Sly ruggedness in the bean in the aftertaste with a creamy sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly nice sessionability as a porter. Carbonation felt fine. Enough robust roastiness playing with the vanilla bean smoothness. Overall, a very nice English porter with a nice vanilla bean smoothness balancing nicely.

Pretty disappointing from a brewery I thoroughly enjoy. Sharp carbonation, almost burnt flavor with no vanilla and not very pleasant tasting. If you visit this place and can only have a few, this is the last brew I'd recommend trying when on tap.

Great porter base and just the right amount of vanilla in the nose.
