This very sessionable pale ale will quench your thirst, while satisfying your craving for hops. Stockhouse 122 is brewed with a generous amount of full aroma American hops and a bit of malted rye.

On-tap last night at Smiths Billiards, Springfield, MA.
A- Orange deep copper brew pours into a goblet from the tap. The head is foamy and white and rises to just above one finger retaining decently. Medium wide ring results after head dissipation and a few webs of lace stick on the glass.
S- Orange citrus hops and hints of tropical fruits like a hint of mango and tangerine. Malt notes of pale caramel, toast and bready grain. Eventually the malts take over.
T- Just on the hoppy side of the balance as plenty of toast, caramel, slight raisin, bread and slight sweetness. Well rounded. Mango, orange zest, grapefruit, spicy herbs and floral tones. Rye spice is obvious throughout.
MF- Foamy and frothy texture with a fairly creamy consistency with some agitation. Moderately-high end carbonation is crisp and edgy but the rye does help to smooth things out somewhat. Oily citrus bitter finish.
Balanced pale ale a touch to the hoppy and toasted malty side but not overly sweet at all.
