This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a bronzed slight transparency. Slim finger-ed white speckled head left foamy clingy rings. The smell had a big sharp zesty piney spice. Gently letting in some light citrus. The taste was mainly zesty sweet with a slight sharp glossy pine. A mainly piney aftertaste leads to a sweet dry finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was sharp like an AIPA but a gentle smoothness as it warmed on my tongue. Overall, this was a very good offering from Southern Tier. I’d definitely have it again.

12 oz bottle poured into my trusty Dogfish Signature glass.
Its really been six years since my last review? Damn, does time goes fast. Pours a nice copper with a half inch off white head that faded after a minute or so and pretty decent lacing down the glass. A very floral scent with some lemon for good measure. Medium body and light to medium carbonation. Crisp and clean. The flowery notes really come out at first with a nice dry hoppy finish. Very well balanced. Overall I am quite happy with this beer. I really like seeing brewers showcase a single hop and do it well.

Great show case for Centennial hops, think it's retired though

I feel like I am back in the U.S. Navy, where we never had "Lunch", but were served "Dinner" instead. Breakfast, Dinner and Supper were the order of the day. And Midrats aboard ship. I spied the entire series while on a brief visit to Country Garden 6-Pack today following a haircut and decided to get some chow.
From the bottle: "Brewed with 1 Variety of Hops and 1 Type of Malt".
I Pop!ped the cap and again commenced an aggro pour, producing ~ three fingers of fluffy, light-tan head with moderate retention. The sticky lacing made me cringe as it was going to need a jackhammer to get it out of the glass when I am finished. Color was Deep Amber/Light Copper to Copper (SRM = > 13, < 17) with NE-quality clarity. Nose was very floral, somewhat sweet, reminiscent of my late paternal grandmother's rose garden with a raspberry bush across the lawn. Fruity and flowery. Interesting. Mouthfeel was medium. The taste really matched the nose! I initially got a rosy, flowery flavor from it, but then I began to also taste red raspberries. This was a really mellow, tea-like flavor for an AIPA, but since it would be my last before hitting the rack, I was really happy with it. At another time of day, it might be said to lack Ooomph!, which is something for which I commonly dun beers. The finish was pleasant, low in bitterness, but not really what I am looking for from the style as a self-avowed hophead.

I enjoyed this chilled in an IPA glass from the 12oz
The color is dark golden with medium amber and has great clarity with thick pale cap with very good retention with fine bead. The smell has citrus aroma with fruity tropical and slightly floral orange-esque hop smell. The feel has a good body with low sweetness and medium bitterness with light spice and medium carbonation with semi-dry bitter finish.
The flavor begins dry with toasted malt and tangy citrus mix with a hop fruitiness like orange zest and slight spice tinge with a slightly dry bitter aspect and low astringency with a gently bitter flavor in the finish which is mostly dry. Overall A very good centennial pale nice fresh hops and subtle alcohol with just the right level of malt with a nice drinkable quality for a single hop ale-recommended.
