Well an Old Ale I think is a stretch due to the lack of malt profile to counter the hops.
A - Great. Good head, retained very well. Lacing lasted throughout. A brown amber color.
S - Almost smells like raw, unbrewed hops. Maybe of the summit variety? Tea flavor also in the smell.
T - Definate raw hop up front. Lack of malt around it in support leaves a less balanced taste than I would like. That said the taste REA
lly developed as I progressed through the beer. I actually started with this as a 3 for taste, and 3 for drinkability. Both were bumped to 4.
M/D - Started of disapointed. Finished wanting another. Great carbonation, very interesting beer. It is extremely unique in its execution of hop taste. Ratings increased with every sip.
