Copper color with a small white head that vanishes. Mid speckled lacing on the glass.
Rich caramel malt aroma with some nice toasted nutty compliments. A pleasant wave of citrusy hops rounds it out.
Caramel malty upfront with mild toasted nutty flavors. Fairly aggressive bitterness midway with a pleasing citrus hop flavor. Finishes rather clean and dry with a touch of lingering hops.
Medium-full body, mild carbonation.
Quite a tasty, easy drinking beer. However, it seems a little too hoppy for the style - and could just as easily be mistaken as an imperial amber. Still, it's well worth the try.
