Consumed May 1st, 2012. Brewed on November 2nd, 2011 according to bottle label. Poured into a standard pint glass.
Beer presents as a clear, golden/copper/caramel mix. Sticky one-finger head made of uniform, densely packed tiny bubbles that leave some sticky sheeting behind.
Aroma - faint spices (nutmeg, cinnamon), some brown malts.
Flavor: Starts off with piney bitterness and a touch of indistinct spice. Rich melanoidin midtaste. Caramel on the finish. not as acidic or sharp as I like, but that's not a flaw.
Mouthfeel is slightly oily.
Well done and drinkable, as long as your limit is one. A little too sweet and hot to have more.
Serving type: bottle
