***A great extra from Cuzco***
This beers coloring reminds me of burnt chocolate, with lots of big bubbles rising to the top of my chimay goblet. Finger and a half of off white head that disappears quickly, but leaves behind some clingy lace.
I'm pretty stuffed up, but I'm still picking up some bready/caramel malts, dark fruit notes with raisins and figs and maybe some orange citrus as well. I would really like to get a better whiff of this when my head feels like it wont explode.
A strong taste of orange off the bat, mixed with some really thick malts. Caramel, toffe. There is def a fruit juice hit in there somewhere as well, apple maybe? White grape? This bottle has little to no hop bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium at best, and the high amount of carbonation that I was assuming from the look of this thing isn't represented at all. Not a huge ABV compared to some of the other old ales I have had, but drinkable nonetheless. There is some alchojol present after it leaves, but just enough to let you know your drinking a beer.
