Bottle poured into a mug.
A- It poured a somewhat clear but bright golden yellow with about an 1" thick white head that quickly dissipated. It left a fair amount of lacing that tended to fade by the end of the beer and had medium carbonation.
S- As the name implies, I was met with a lot of hops (mostly pine) up front.
T- Based on it's description, I was expecting a little more complexity to the taste. I felt there was a strong hop flavor and not a whole lot else (maybe some citrus notes).
M- Pretty much light to medium in the mouth. Hop flavors gave it a bit of a tingle. Refreshing on a hot day.
D- It's a pretty good beer. Going in I was expecting more to this beer. The label called it a "summer wheat beer" and I felt the wheat characteristics were lacking. While this beer didn't meet my initial expectations, I enjoy what it is and wouldn't mind drinking a few more this summer on the deck or out at the beach.
