Pours brilliantly clear, golden amber, SRM 5-7, with a shallow, quickly fading, off-white foam that leaves little to no lace after dissipating completely. Occasional solitary bubbles of carbonation are released from within a Dogfish Head Fisheye pint.
Spicy hops are sharp with a hint of pine sap. The sharpness fades after a few minutes, revealing better balance with caramel malt aromas and ultimately revealing some lemon as well.
Light flavors include a touch of citrus with bready notes up front. Grass comes out in the middle and lasts well into a modest finish, while citrus strengthens with warming.
The medium body is countered by fizzy carbonation and a light metallic and chalky feel.
Hop Sun is a fine summer drinking beer, suitable from late Spring but more full than a typical lawnmower beer. Off notes, however, do hold it back.

A- pours a clear pale straw color with a small foamy white head that retains nicely, leaving behind some nice lacing
S- crisp wheat with some toasted malt, fruity hops with berry notes, herbal notes with some lemon grass, slightly bready finish
T- citrusy hop flavor up front with an emphasis on lemon, clean toasty malt with slight sweet bready flavors, crisp wheat on the finish with an herbal hop linger
M- medium body with moderate spritzy carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crop dry finish
O- simply profiled, yet well balanced and drinkable. A worthy option for those hp summer days
