On Tap at Mad Mex Monroeville
A: Deep golden almost copperish in color with a frothy head that retains nicely. Good lacing.
S: Average for the style, albeit a bit thin. Citrus anf floral scents up front with some grainy and piney scents following.
T: Surprisingly nice flavors. Nothing over the top, but classic flavors of the style. Citrus up front with some pulp-like bitterness coming through. Grainy flavors following with a slight malty backing. A piney-citrus hodepodge finishes the sip.
MF: Light Medium
Overall: High drinkability because of its subdued bitterness. A nice beer to introduce a novice to the style. Nothing over the top. Just classic citrus, hop, and slight pine flavors.
Serving type: on-tap
