Pours a clear golden amber in color with a thin light khaki head. Aroma has citrus and piney hops, combined with a nice biscuity malt presence. Aroma isn't overwhelming and I really had to stick my nose into the glass to dig for it. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with some nice carbonation. Flavor has a nice citrusy hop bitterness upfront. Toasted malt follows with a lot of sharp piney hops midway. Hops dominate and make this a really juicy beer. Malt flavor hides behind it in the background. The flavor seems to thin out a little in the finish.
This was fairly decent. I think it would pair well with spicy foods to cut the heat and still remain very drinkable.
