Pours out a clear yellow with one finger of white small creamy suds. No lacing to speak of.
Smell is slightly malty with very faint fruityness like lemon and the hop is in there too.
Taste is refreshingly clean and flavors of darkness follow the initial wateryness.
Second taste brings out the hop flavors and the bitter maltyness. This is a complex flavorful brew that is hard to pin down.
Mouthfeel is all over the place. It starts out very clean and refreshing then it gets slightly sticky and bitter then leaves the palate for just a tad then the dark bitterness sticks around in the back of the throat.
Overall this is a cool beer. I could see sessioning this one and using it as a great lawnmower beer. Very nice.
