this beer is crystal clear. very nice. orange/amber/gold color if those combinations make sense. fair retention. white head. fair lacing.
a soft hop aroma with notes of mostly pine. subtle aroma of crystal malts and esters.
sweet upfront. this quickly gives way to a pine/citrus hop flavor. and a nice bitter finish. the palate definitly leans towards a focus on hops.
medium light body. smooth.
this is not a flavor bomb. this is a very palatable, very sessionable ale, which is what i think the brewer was intending to do here. very nice. i would not describe this beer as extraordinary. pleasant though.
