Bomber to snifter. Cool not cold.
A: Poured thick and smooth. Black, and no visible amber around edges of glass. Thin tan / expresso head - small bubbles. Doesn't last long.
S: Dark roasted malt. Lots of dark fruit then some coffee. A little bit of chocolate and alcohol afterwards.
T: Big malty flavor - with some sweetness upfront. Lots of dark fruit like plums and raisins. Followed by some chocolate and coffee. Some hop bitterness afterwards that seems mild but still comes across balanced with the sweetness. Little bit of alcohol in the finish but not too noticeable.
M: Full body. Very Smooth. Very creamy and it really coats the mouth with each slug. It lingers. This does not seem dry at all in my opinion.
D: Delicious. Great malt sweetness and still very balanced. Very smooth, and the alcohol is well harmonized. Can't tell it has 11% abv. I'm slugging this back.
