A- Poured into an oversized wine glass... after an agressive pour, it starts with a small brown head that doesn't linger long. Beer is black with no light making it through when held up to one
S- Disappointingly weak. A bit of sweetness, like dark fruits... more like that of a RIS
T- Starts sweet, dark fruits mixed with licorice. Hints of coffee and chocolate. Has a very earthy oak taste
M- Smooth with little carbonation, on the heavier side, but not chewy
D- Tasty, but a bit disappointing as far as Southern Tier Imperials go... IMO.
