Poured part of the 22oz bottle into a Chalice.
A: very dark brown, almost black body with a one finger tanned head with literally no lacing present.
S: sweet roasted malts and chocolate in different aromas (milk, dark).
T: starts with a mild oatmeal introduction that moves to a sweeter chocolate, toffee, and slight caramel taste. Ends with slight bitterness in the palate but never in an offensive way that breaks up the balance.
M: smooth, somewhat creamy, medium to full body, medium carbonation.
O: another quality stout product from STBC. I was very impressed with the solid taste of this beer and how enjoyable it was. Not Creme Brulee enjoyable, but very good nevertheless.
