A tribute to the dynamic energy of the summer. Brewed with 2-row pale malt, wheat malt. Hopped with Centennial, dry-hopped with more of the same.

A- Clear golden-orange. Airy white head dies off quickly leaving patchy remnants of head floating on top.

S- Heavy on the wheat and the hop. Very sweet.

T- Horribly unbalanced for an American Pale Wheat. i'm inclined to agree with the Bros- I think this is mis-classified. Heavy biscuit malts with a sweet, almost molasses taste. Very strong, bitter (and wholly unpleasant) finish.

M- Medium to full bodied. Uhg, the bitterness just lingers and won't go away, kinda like a stray cat.

D- Seems way too heavy to be the shiny summery beer the name and label leads you to believe. Thankfully there's someone else here who enjoys it & I'll go ahead and pass it to the right

22 ounce bottle into tulip glass; no bottle dating, but probably over 3 years old. Pours hazy golden orange color with a 1 finger dense off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Slight spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of honey, wheat, bread, light caramel, grapefruit, orange, floral, grass, pepper, clove, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of malt and hop notes; with solid strength. Some light oxidation is present, but not bad. Taste of honey, wheat, bread, light caramel, floral, orange, grapefruit, grass, pepper, clove, and earthy yeast spiciness. Good amount of earthy pepper spiciness on the finish; with lingering notes of honey, wheat, bread, citrus, floral, grass pepper, clove, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Light oxidation present in the taste as well, but not bad. Very nice balance of malt and hop flavors; with good malt/spiciness balance and no cloying flavors after the finish. Light carbonation and medium-full bodied; with a creamy and slick mouthfeel that is good. Alcohol is very well hidden with hardly any warming noticed after the finish. Overall this a very good imperial wheat beer, even with the age. Good balance of malt, hop, and spicy flavors; and very smooth to sip on for the ABV. A very enjoyable offering.
