22 oz botttle was poured into a large Duvel tuliped glass.
Appearance: a nice orange glow comes from the glass. A little head has formed at the top of the glass and has reduced to a thin layer. There are also signs of carbonation coming through the middle of the glass.
Smell: pumpkin, brown sugar, nutmeg, cinnamom, clove, all spice, and very bready. Smells almost as if I can eat the beer instead of drinking it. This should be called pumpkin bread beer.
Taste: Same as above and very delicious. Booze is hidden really well.
Mouthfeel: smooth, full bodied, medium to low carbonation
Overall: I have had this on draft several times last year at the Union Brewhouse and about time I had to review it. Out of all the pumpkin beers I have tried over the past few years, this seems to be amongst the top ones. Will look forward to having more of this beer in the future.
