A - Pours a copperish-orange. Large, 1'' collar of slightly off-white head forms with medium retention. Lacing is minimal.
S - Strong esters of allspice, cinnamon, honey, ginger, and pumpkin spices. There is some malty presence underlying SHV, but no hop aroma detected.
T - Mild malt sweetness is strongly overpowered by phenol SHV spices, included cracked pepper, vanilla, nutmeg. Balance is very moderate despite minimal hop bitterness. Dry finish with noticeable alcohol presence.
M - Medium-light, creamy body with average carbonation.
D/O - A very seasonal representation of SHV beer, that pumpkin enthusiasts would enjoy. It may not necessarily offer anything different than other commercial examples, but it seems to employ a variety of what the rest do.
