22 oz poured into watou goblet
appearance: burnt orangish red, initially plumy head that quickly dissapates but still leaves some nice lacing
smell: aroma is of wow you guessed it pumpkin!!! not nutmeg, cinnamon, freakin pumpkin that was roasted. This smells like roasted squash
taste: Tastes like wooow pumpkin!!! i mean it is really straight forward, you get some vanilla, enough of a hop prescence to make it balanced and enjoyable, hops just kind of keep it from being heavy, flavors definitely of vanilla and caramel
overall: Clearly the best pumpkin beer i have ever had and the best from a larger production brewery for sure, the abv is not evident at all which is dangerous, well done southern tier, i think people are rating this just as a beer, cause as a beer its good, well really good but within the style its king , says so on the bottle too
Serving type: bottle
