Thanks to projectflam86 for sending me this one in a trade. *lifts glass in thanks to Kyle*
A clear orangish copper body produces a think and quickly dissapating 'crown'
Nutmeg, allspice, pie crust, burnt sugar, ginger bread, cookie dough and perhaps some cinnammon...and oh yeah pumpkin, all make their appearance...at least on the nose.
The taste is exactly what the nose hints at, which is liquid pumpkin pie with emphasis on the pie. The burnt sugar and pie crust flavors along with the spices really domintate and keep it from getting carried away in the sweet dept.
The feel is ok, but a tad thin for such a bruiser of a beer. I could use a bit more umph.
Definately worth a try but overall this is not much more than a novelty beer, a good one though. that said, 22 ounces was plenty...time to move on now.
