big bottle and large wine glass
a - clear amber, small head fades fast
s- very good. pumpkin pie spices, sweet, little fruit, banana clove
t - bitter pumpkin to start, pumpkin pie and caramel sweetness on back. A little bit of alcohol is present but it doesn't distract.
mf- pretty smooth overall. effervescent on front
overall - I'm a fan. Probably slightly biased since its limited and hard to find. The taste is not super spicy and has a sweet semblance without being over sweet on the taste buds. Worth picking up a few bottles every season.

Bottle poured into 2 weizen glasses.
A: Weak, actually. A nice color, burnt orange, but almost no head. A little white on top of the surface.
S: Rich smell of pumpkin and mulling spices
T: Obvious pumpkin and mulling spices. Despite the 8.6 ABV, Southern TIer did a good job of keeping the alcohol taste away from this brew. Not as much bite as I would have liked, but certainly tasty.
M: A little flat, but smooth and easy
O: A good beer, but not superior to other Southern Tier brews, or other pumpkin beers like Rivertown's

650 ml bottle poured into a snifter and tulip. The bottle says "pour into a goblet," but I don't have a goblet.
A - per the last reviewer, this beer pours a very, very unique color. Almost completely transparent orange, unnaturally bright. Red hues, almost like a DIPA, but very clear.
S - not many beers taste exactly like they smell, but this one does. Hints of nutmeg, a little anise maybe, but a lot of vanilla. Big smells coming from the snifter.
T - really good. By far the best pumpkin beer I've ever had. That's not saying a lot, because I don't really care for pumpkin beers, but the flavor here was unique to say the least. Like the smell, lots of vanilla and a bigger nutmeg presence. Some cinnamon, but not a lot.
M - meh. This beer didn't stick around in my mouth. The high(ish) ABV (for a pumpkin) is nowhere to be found.
O - like I said, the best pumpkin beer I've ever had. Unlike the last reviewer, I particularly enjoyed my experience, and I may just have to get this at the next harvest.
