Poured from a 22oz. Bomber into my goblet

A- pours vibrant golden orange color. Little to no head that diminished very quickly..

S- smells of "pumking" cheer, nutmeg, vanilla bean, clove and allspice

T- close to the smell but more pronounced... a pefect melody of vanilla, nutmeg, allspice and clove.... with an ever so delicious smack of graham cracker in the back followed by a little bite from the magnum hops... very buttery as well overall

M- prickly feeling from the carbonation, very slick and buttery going down.. with a bit of dryness

O- I look forward to my case of this every year... this beer has pretty much ruined every other pumpkin beer to ever touch my glass... another pleasing offering from ST!

22oz (2012) into a tulip. Pours a clear coppery orange w/ a nice fluffy white head, vigorous carb.

Aroma is earthy, spicy, slightly bready, vegetal.

Taste leads off with an assault of spicy notes. Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, clove, allspice. Mostly cinnamon, like someone dropped some Red Hots in the kettle. Pulpy pumpkin, pale biscuity malt, graham cracker. Spices overpower everything else though, and not necessarily in a good way. Finishes bitter.

Mouthfeel is chewy, medium-bodied. Lingering aftertaste keeps those spices on the tongue all the way to the back of the throat.

Overall, glad I finally tried this one but I don't think I'll be revisiting it. Just not really enjoying the taste of this beer so much.

Served in tulip. Poured a lightly hazy orange-gold color with just the thinnest cap of off-white head that had no retention or lacing. The beer was very still.

The aroma was a bit on the sweet side, but had a nice balance of malts that ended being very neutral smelling. The flavors were mostly earthy malts, with a bit of pumpkin sweetness. I don't like pumpkin, and I found the flavors to to be nicely blended, with no one aspect dominated.

I found the body to be on the thin side of medium, I kind of wanted a bit fuller feel. Drinkability was surprisingly good, the beer was gone pretty quickly. Overall, probably the pumpkin beer I've liked best. Certainly worth trying if you see it.

A: Pours a slightly hazy burnt orange color that glows in the glass. Capped by a one finger white head.

S: Holy schnikes! What a smell! Huge, huge pumpkin pie aroma. Tons of pumpkin, baked brown sugar, molasses, cinnamon, allspice, buttery pie crust, baked yam and toasted marshmallow. Wowzers. This is a shoo-in 5.

T: If the taste was as sweet as the smell, this probably would be a bit much. Luckily, it's not, but it still has a ton of great flavor. Opens with some cinnamon and a touch of pumpkin flesh. Then comes a hit of nutmeg and a finish of toasted malt, more pumpkin and some vanilla. By far the best pumpkin beer I've had. I really wish they would distribute this out here.

Clear orange-copper body. Light whispy lacing.

Nose is awesome. warm gingerbread cookies. Vanilla, caramel, nutmeg. Bready. Pure enjoyment. I never thought a beer could ever smell this good.

Taste follows up just as good as the nose. Vanilla, nutmeg, raw pumpkin. Sweet but not cloying in the least. Enough bitterness at the end to balance the sweetness and keep things in a beer perspective.

Unbelievable beer. So easy to drink. Loved every sip of this bomber. The best pumpkin beer out there and I've had many. This blows most others out of the water.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Chimay goblet.

Appearance: Pours a translucent, bright copper color. Has a medium-sized, frothy head that dissipates slowly and leaves some decent lacing.

Smell: Wow! This might be the best smelling beer I've ever had. Definitely pumpkin and spices like all pumpkin ales, but also some toasty malts, vanilla, and a bit of nuttiness. It actually smells like a complete pumpkin pie. Intense!

Taste: Damn. The flavor lives up to the aroma in every way. Rich pumpkin and spice flavors backed by a considerable buttery, toasty malt flavor, vanilla, and nuts. It tastes like the best pumpkin pie I've ever had!

Mouthfeel: A medium-body with a smooth, creamy feel.

Overall: Sweet Jesus! How long has this beer been out? Why haven't I had this before? Why can't I drink this every day? I'm usually pretty skeptical about pumpkin ales, but, man, this is an absolutely fantastic beer. So many complex flavors come together to create a great finished product. I can't recommend this one enough.
