Drank this one out of a tulip glass...

A: I was surprised how really orange it was. Almost looks like Hi-C.

S: Very sweet smell. Pumpkin aroma all around, as well as all of the good fall/holiday spices.

T: Pumpkin pie in a glass. Crisp and sweet.

M: Not super impressed here...but don't need to be. I do like more of a thicker mouthfeel on a beer like this and this one doesn't have a ton of body. But it doesn't take away from the beer overall.

Overall: one of the best pumpkin ales I've had. Highly recommended to anyone into the fall/pumpkin styles.

I just love this beer! I bought 2 cases of it at $6.99 per a bottle. It's a hard beer to find. When they sell it at Whole Foods you have to request it because it's not on the shelves and they only allow 1 bottle per person per day. They sell it at Churchkey for $18 a bottle. This beer smells amazing. Smells like vanilla pumpkin. Tastes like vanilla pumpkin without all those spices like nutmeg and cinnamon that can be overpowering. It's smooth. This is my fav beer of all time so far.

A- A very light amber transparent body with a golden tint. White head dissappears quickly and leaves a thin ring of white bubbles.

S- Pumkin, nutmeg, candied sugar, cinnamon, graham cracker, butterscotch. Smells more like a dessert than a beer.

T- Most of the nose comes through in the taste. Pumpkin and graham cracker are very noticeable, with a faint flavor of spice. Very sweet with some vanilla and toasted malt coming through towards the end.

M- Pretty high carbonation level with a somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Definitely drinkable and a sipper.

O- Most flavorful pumpkin beer out there. If you don't like sweet/sugary flavors, this is not your beer.

Just had a fresh 2012 and pulled a 1 year old 2011 out of the cellar. the 2011 wins.
appearance: Orange and hazy like a beer brewed with pumpkin puree out to be.
smell: Out fo this world. Smells like a great pumpkin pie. I swear I even smell the graham cracker crust. All the usual pumpkin suspects, spices.
taste: Just delish. Pumpkin pie in an adult creamy beverage.
overall: amazing achievement. Bravo Southern Tier. Alcohol is imperceptible.

Crisp up front with a very pumpkiny finish. Pours about the same color as a marzen with an excellent aroma. Overall a bit too sweet for me on the finish but a good novelty beer. I still prefer Weyerbacher Imperial Pumpkin to any other pumpkin beer I’ve tried.
