Pours a purely opaque black with a thin, dark tan head that leaves an appealing, yet faint lacing behind.
Aromas of rich dark chocolate and roasted malt waft the glass. The sweet and roasted notes compliment each other nicely, but in the end the chocolate milk aroma prevails.
The onslaught of sweet dark chocolate coats the palate and is absolutely delicious. The secondary notes of roasted malt are generous and perhaps a touch earthy.
Thick in body with medium carbonation; this double stout is smooth, creamy, and silky with just a touch of booze to finish.
This is a great beer, likely best with dessert, actually in substitute of. I do not think I have tasted another beer quite like this.
