A- A firm black with a mocha head of about 1.5 fingers that quickly dissipates. Not much lacing to speak of as one can usually expect of a sturdy 10% stout.

S- Milk chocolate and fudge resonate on the nose. A health amount of roasted character comes through in waves.

T- An abundance of chocolate and cocoa powder make for a beer that is like a candy bar in a glass. Tootsie roll. Robust, near abrasive roast that plays a perfect balancing role with the sweet chocolate. Warmth of vanilla/oak finishes off the drink in the back of the throat.

M- While I could go for it to be a little more full and viscous on the tongue, overall, the mouth is quite nice really. Creamy, yet finishing dry. Almost powder like. Not a flawless effort to hide the alcohol, it was still a noble one.

O- I had my doubts about this one since I haven't loved some of ST's other offerings, but this one really hit the spot for me. An intense dessert beer that generates complexity and refuses to be ordinary.

Bomber bottle poured into a Tulip Glass.

Appearance- Pours a nice Black, no light appears to come through whatsoever. Head is about a finger and a half, poured somewhat vigorously down the center midway to see if I could get a head. Tan in color.

Smell- Instant, huge blast of chocolate. Who would have guessed :D? Smells fantastic, slight hints of malt and an earthy smell. But strongly chocolate dominate.

Mouthfeel- Thick, and creamy. Carbonation is not high, and is excellently done. Everything meddles in the mouth well.

Taste- Taste leads exactly as the nose does. Large chocolate taste upfront, with mid notes of earth, and malt, slight alcohol hit, somewhat expected with a 10%. Covered very well though, and incredibly smooth.

Overall- A very good beer. If you are not a fan of chocolate in your beer this is not for you. It nearly reminds me of chocolate milk mixed with beer, in a good way. I think a dessert beer is a good description, as it is not mega complex and is easy to enjoy.
