Review from notes. Had with dessert on Thanksgiving.
A: Pours a deep brown color with a small brown colored head on top. Moderate retention and minimal lacing.
S: Lots of rich chocolate and some roasted malt. A nice mix of milk and dark chocolate, really in your face.
T: Similarly, chocolate heavy. Very rich milk and dark chocolate, almost like a chocolate syrup. Slight roast malt presence, but the chocolate is very much the forward flavor.
M: Full bodied, but very smooth with moderate carbonation. Finish is slightly sticky.
O: As advertised, a beer that is heavy on chocolate. Having had ST Creme Brulee before, I expected Choklat to be on the sweeter side. Had it with a piece of rich chocolate cake and it was fantastic. Still, not a beer I would drink all the time.
