bottle into tulip
appearance: pitch black with 1 finger off white head, minor lacing
smell: butterscotch, vanilla, espresso bean, milk chocolate, lots of sweet sugary smell, maple syrup
taste: very very sweet, lots of butterscotch, milk, caramel and vanilla as nose would suggest, with heavy milk chocolate body. Very smooth, not bitter, the malt backbone is very sweet.
mouthfeel: not too carbonated, thick bodied
overall: Very sweet, good for what it is, couldn't drink this everyday but still damn good. Probably the best "dessert" beer i've ever had.
Serving type: bottle
