1 Pint 6 fl oz bottle poured into Trois Pistoles snifter. DOB 07/0(1?)/11 stamped near bottom of bottle.
Appearance - Light-medium brown head. Two fingered with a high pour. Medium low retention. Black body.
Smell - Strong caramel and cream. Very sweet.
Taste - Coffee with heavy cream. Mild boozy, solvent astringency throughout and well into the finish.
Mouthfeel - Medium bodied and somewhat creamy. After a while, the alcohol will strip paint off the wall. It is required to drink this with as much head as possible.
Overall Drinkability - Good beer, but the astringency ruins it in the long run.
