Just opened a 2010 bottle and have to totally disagree with the cellaring recommendation, wish I would have waited longer, this beer is extraordinary. Has mellowed a bit since 2010 all for the better. Just glad I still have one bottle of this vintage in the cellar. Three years is definitely not too long to cellar.

pint glass out of bottle
First had this at the Alchemy cafe in Madison, WI a few months ago, hadn't been able to get enough since.
A-Dark brown, almost black. No real hint of any carbonation visible. There's a tan head, about a centimeter, but disipates quickly. However, it leaves a nice lacing around the glass as you drink. Very dull, but I like dark stouts and scotch ales, so not a problem for me
S-woah. Vanilla. Definitely vanilla. Also, there's a small carmall-y scent in the background
T-I can definitely understand why they called it a Creme-Brulee. The vanilla bean taste is huge. Built incredibly well, also. On the bottle it says there's caramel malt, but it's more in the background, like when I smelled it. The hops are very far back in the flavor, and you only really get them as aftertaste.
M-Only lightly carbonated. I can keep it in without having to swallow quickly and it definitely feels nice in there. I feel as it gets warmer, the carbonation will become less and less pronounced
O-one of my most favorite stouts, Heavy on the malt, light on the hops. Smells fantastic, and gets you a good buzz without feeling horrible when your done, especially because the bottle is so large. This could definitely be a "stuck on a desert island" beer for me

A-black with a brown head with a large head that leaves a great heavy lacing
S-milk chocalate with a very sweet vanilla aroma
T-coffee taste with a toffee taste and a very strong sweetness that seems to come from the vanilla, with a warming aftertaste
M-full body, heavy syrup feeling
O- vanilla is the word

A - Pours black, doesn't seem thick and has a khaki head.

S - Pure, unadulterated vanilla bean and a little sugar sweetness. Literally a joy to sniff.

T - A sweet vanilla shake from the start that develops into vanilla bean goodness. The end is a little bitter, which detracted a bit for me.

M - Medium to full bodied with medium carbonation. Has a smooth, velvety body.

O - A vanilla bean bomb... The way people talk about this, I was expecting a sweet concoction and it wasn't.
