Embracing Old-world Christmas culture... I like it. Pours a clear coppery orange body and topped with a nice sticky off-white head.
Aroma throws off surprisingly hoppy notes with a bit of grassy pine character and some fruitiness as well. Sweet malty backbone throws of a bit of a caramel note.
Nice zesty fruit hop character with a good bit of bitterness to go along with it. Biscuity malt character with a bit of toffee/caramel sweetness. Slight taste of alcohol in the finish.
Mouhtfeel is pretty heavy with a smooth finish. Overall, Krampus is a nice boozy beer with a surprisingly good hop kick for an enjoyable holiday beer.
