Pours a copper color with a thin white head. Even when refilling my glass with an aggressive pour it was hard to get more than a very thin head. Little lacing is left
Nose is fruity, sweet caramel and vanilla. I think I pick up some real faint hops. This is a DIPA, so it must be hops. Or maybe I think I pick up hops because it's a DIPA?
Taste is some sweet caramel, malts, vanilla, some oakiness and some slight bitterness. This is a very nicely balanced and complex beer.
Mouthfeel is thick, not much carbonation. It even has a thick look to it whey you hold it up to the light
A very good Oaked Double IPA.

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
