A - Slightly cloudy amber pour, no carbonation, no head.
S - Honey, malt, citrusy hops, very light nose overall.
T - Heavy oak, followed by malty sweetness, slight alcohol heat, very mellow hop finish.
M - Thinner mouthfeel than original Unearthly. A little disappointing.
O - Excellent oak flavor and well rounded maltiness not usually experienced in a DIPA. The hop-forward flavor typical of this style has been lost to the aging. It's a good beer but the original Unearthly is better, but I'm glad I tried it.

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
