Bomber poured into New Belgium snifter.
A- Burnt orange with a one finger head after aggressive pour leaving slight lacing.
S- Muted hops and malt with big vanilla-oak.
T- Taste is big vanilla-oak up front with some citrus hops in the middle. Leaves a slight pine bitterness on the back end.
M- Mouthfeel is very nice. Smooth creamy carbonation. The oak gives it a slight bourbon note that is a bit hot near the end.
O- I like this beer a lot. I am getting a lot of oak on this. Not as hoppy as many DIPAs. You could call this a barleywine and I would believe it. Very smooth and very enjoyable. Seek it out.

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
