A- murky golden orange with a tan half an inch head some lacing
S- subdued hops like they're being blocked by the woody oaky sweet smell, theres a ton of sweetness here i dont think its coming from the malts seems mostly from the oak
T- again like the nose the hop presence is very quiet for an DIPA and its replaced by a ton of woody oaky sweetness even a bit of smoke flavor here, a bit of booze at the finish
M- pretty thick and chewy
D- at 11% it doesnt feel it now but it will later
very decent brew nothing amazing i was hoping for more hops but this is a welcome change just as well

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
