The appearance is cloudy amber, with a slight reddish tint. Sweet malt aromas, together with vanilla, and a bit of cherry. There is also a funky aroma, almost like pungent soft cheese (which would make a good pairing for the Oak Aged Unearthly). A medium bodied beer with a lot of sweetness. There are citrus and hop flavors, but they are really overwhelmed by the caramel or toffee malt. Although the alcohol content was high, this drinks smoothly. The sweetness, however, was a bit much for me and suggests this is best enjoyed in small doses.

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
