Appearance: Orange/amber color with some blush highlights when held to the lighjt. Creamy one finger off white head. With excellent retention. Beautiful sticky lacing.
Aroma: Huge maple, oak, and vanilla aromas blend well with gentle floral hops and sweet fruity notes floating around.
Taste: Sweet maple, oak, caramel, vanilla flavors. All things associated with a typical oak-aged beer. What I like is how it works well with the hops. Subtle and florl but always taking the backseat to the malts and oaky flavors. Even some bourbon bozziness.
Mouthfeel: medium. soft body. alcohol prevalent in the finish. A sipper. probably wasnt expecting this to be this big

Holy oak taste, Batman!
Forget aged in oak. This tastes like I'm just drinking right out of the barrel. Oak, brown, tannins. That's what this beer tastes like. Also some hops and malt... but mostly just oak.
No real good aromas to speak of.
What am I drinking? Sigh. Drinkable and unique, but wouldn't have it again
