12 oz. bottle poured somewhat aggressively into a pint glass, yielding a hazy golden straw with a fleeting cap of foam and offering a lingering ring and light lacing.
Nose is a nice balance of wheat and yeast and offers some intriguing notes though a bit unusual them may be.
Taste is a bit of a drawback at first. Decent but with a notable false lemon quality initially. This settles out with a bit of exposure to a bready character with definite lemon influences and some coarse and spiced wheat notes. Lemon is everpresent yet fades to the background, thankfully, with some warming.
Decent feel and drink for the style. Somewhat coarse and dry in a spice sense, lightly fruity after some air, and easy drinking yet with enough body to intrigue the senses.
