While I admit part of my initial intrigue with this beer was all about the Earth Day tribute. I'm pleased to say that I'm very satisfied beyond the name and label. This review is on a bottle poured into a pint glass.
Appearance: Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow with visible carbonation running slightly throughout. The 1 finger white soapy-foam head fades quickly to a skim and leaves little specks of watery lacing behind.
Smell: Very light and subtle, with hints of toasted grain and a somewhat biscuity malt coming through.
Taste/Mouthfeel: The taste is surprisingly robust for the lack of smell coming through. The toasty wheat is met with a light citrus hop presence that's neither exceptionally bitter nor sticky. The malts lend a little chewy sweetness that coats the mouth well in the aftertaste. The alcohol is not detectable at all. Feel is light and mouthfilling, really complementing the taste.
Drinkability: Really high - definitely could be a summer staple pale ale.
