On tap at Coles. Pours a glimmery golden. Deep hop aromas, lemon citrus, wheat. Aroma is really suprisingly hoppy after viewing what looks like a summer wheat. Taste has a real crisp hop bitterness to it. Combined with a slight lemon citrus & some wheat this leads up to a tremendously drinkable, yet hoppy brew.

On-tap at Cole's. Centennial, and then dry hopped with Cascade and Willamette. Presented to me as a kind of wheat IPA. The wheat bulks up the body and aids the lace. Golden yellow body, aromatic hops. Tongue tingling carbonation. 55 IBU. Decent bitterness, closer to what an American Pale is today in that regard.

Light hazy yellow in color with a small white head and some minimal lacing on the pint glass. Smells are of citrusy hops. Taste is very crisp, bitter on the intake and some of that citrus to wash it out in the back. Could drink these all night long if given the situation. Very recommended.

sampled on tap at coles april 10/09. the menu lists it at 55IBU and 6.5%ABV.

pours crystal clear orangey amber with a small dense off-white head. the head drops fast and leaves lots of spotty lace.

aroma is nice. light alcohol. floral, bit earthy. orange and tangerine. white bread and cracker. bit of biscuit.

taste is nice. earthy, floral, and light citrus. bit of orange and tangerine. light alcohol. biscuit and cracker. bit of white bread. medium-low bitterness level.

mouthfeel is good. medium-low very fine carbonation. just under medium body.

drinkability is good. definitely leans mostly to the english side, with a touch of american citrus. nice balance. solid beer, but not really wowing me.

On tap at Cole's, brewed by Southern Tier for Cole's 75th anniversary.

Pours a hazy dark orange, almost brown, pretty dark for an IPA, thin off white head forms, drops a few lace spots on its way down to a thin collar. Smell is interesting, musty at first, some brown sugar, floral, grapefruit and citrus, strawberry juice, very fruity, some of weird aroma. Taste is similar, very strange fruitiness I couldn't place, pine and grapefruit, some biscuit and brown sugar in the middle, caramel, strawberries, lots of fruit, balanced bitterness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, but feels almost syrupy in the mouth, medium carbonation. Pretty interesting IPA, not my favourite but it kept me interested trying to figure out what the hell was going on. Cheers to Coles!
