Mokah pours flat black with ruby highlights around the edges. On top a small fizzy tan head forms. The foam disappears quickly leaving only a few spots of lace on the glass.
The aroma is sweet with notes of chocolate, dark fruit and alcohol. The chocolate reminds me of Hershey syrup.
Each sip of this medium to full bodied beer is syrupy, with a moderate carbonated fizz. The flavor is sweet and full of chocolate. Other flavors of nuts, dark fruit, grass and alcohol are also present. It finishes mildly bitter with lingering chocolate and alcohol when gone.
A very sweet and chocolaty beer with a warming alcohol kick.
